We use only high quality boards to build board fences for our customers. The boards need to be dry before painting. For horses we recommend the use of electric fence in conjunction with the board fencing in high traffic areas. With horses, post spacing is recommended at 8, 10 or 12 feet. All board fence posts are set at 8 feet with 16 feet staggered rails.
Decorative board fencing is more flexible in post spacing and of course electric fence is not needed.
Pressure treated boards can also be used if the customer would prefer them.
