Tri-County Fence specializes in professional installs of high quality woven wire fencing in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley Region

Woven wire fencing has several different names including box wire, woven wire, non-climb, etc. Tri County Fence uses the term “woven wire” to describe any fence that has vertical and horizontal wires connected to form a grid. Grids may be many different sizes depending on the distance between the wires and the manufacture that produces it.

The most important advantage of woven wire fencing is its security, particularly for animals. Woven wire is specifically designed to keep animals in or out. A tight grid of wires nailed securely on sturdy posts can keep something as small as a rabbit out and or keep an animal as big as a horse in. The only way animals can get through is if the woven wire fence is actually broken. This is VERY difficult even for large animals.

If the security of your animals or livestock is important to you, we’d highly recommend you consider installing woven wire fencing on your property.
